Interview Invitation

When an employer invites an applicant to interview for a position,  the letter written should be brief and provide the applicant with the information pertinent to the situation (i.e., date, time, place, etc.).

Letter 1

Dear [[Recipient]]:

Thank you for returning your completed application form.

We have scheduled an appointment for you at 10:00 a.m., Monday, March 20, 20ˍˍ at our Sydney office.  Transportation, meals, and lodging will be reimbursed to a maximum of $550.

We look forward to a pleasant and informative discussion with you.

Letter 2

Dear [[Recipient]]:

Our fashion designer, Miss Macpherson, would like to discuss your application further at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 22, 20ˍˍ.

If you cannot keep the appointment, please call her at 9000-0000.
