Allergies

Circumstances require that I resign my position as quality control supervisor, effective March 18, 2006.
My unique susceptibility to the materials worked with makes continued employment in this capacity at Smorgon Steel Company an impossibility. In addition, I have been ordered by my physician to detoxify my system by isolating myself from the substance for several months.
I am appreciative of the patience and kindness shown to me by both co-workers and management as I have sought to deal with this difficulty. Unfortunately, fairness to myself demands that I resign rather than continue.
