Personal Problems
Dear [[Recipient]]:
For nine months, I have enjoyed the pleasure and benefits of being vice president of the Telstra Businesswomen’s Club. Thus, it is with great regret that I must resign.
Recent personal difficulties are creating more demands on my non-professional hours. As a result, I cannot give full attention to my responsibility as vice president, and I feel that I am shortchanging the Club.
Working with the other officers has provided pleasure as well as insight into the skills and competence of today’s businesswoman. Please accept my regrets.
